Project Room

The Project Room program is a service to the community offered to members and other arts organizations to utilize the existing physical space and resources of the centre for artistic development.

No fee is paid nor charged for this service. Only proposals from members in good standing and non-profit arts organizations will be considered.

By definition, the Project Room is a program that provides our physical space, resource centre and woodshop to individual members for artistic development, research and/or documenting works. It is also a space available to other Artist-Run Centres to use for workshopping, community work or project development.

The Project Room is an ideal place for emerging artists and those with works in progress for professional development, offering resources that are otherwise inaccessible for the launch of new works or professional art careers.

THE PROJECT ROOM IS NOT AN EXHIBITION SPACE AND MAY NOT BE USED AS ONE. Therefore there may not be a ‘reception’, ‘launch’ or any other promotion of the project as a public exhibition.
